NCD-5600

A self-initiated reinterpretation of the G-SHOCK DW-5600, developed to transform a familiar mass-market watch into a more considered, material-driven object. Following an initial resin release, the project evolved into a hand-finished bronze edition designed to develop its own surface character over time.

I developed the project independently from concept and industrial design through prototyping, supplier development, casting, hand finishing, patina, packaging, launch and sales.
